Lightning Surprise the Maple Leafs Right Before Game 1
With the NHL playoffs finally here, and the long awaited match-up between Tampa Bay and Toronto just about to get underway, it appears like the Lightning have a secret weapon up their sleeves.
Jeannot Returns to the Ice
Tanner Jeannot who was acquired by Tampa Bay at the trade deadline for a massive package of draft picks and prospects, was injured not too long ago during a game. It looked as though the gritty forward may miss considerable time in the playoffs, but now things are starting to turn around for Jeannot and the Lightning.
Jeannot is making his return to action much sooner than expected, and may even be able to join Tampa's game one lineup. If this is the case, it would be a huge addition for the Lightning, who can use his physical presence on a softer Toronto team.
As Toronto continues to try and find a consistent lineup, it appears as though the addition of Jeannot to Tampa Bay might force them to readjust once again.
