Elliotte Friedman Predicts Where Kyle Dubas Will End Up Next Season
Kyle Dubas doesn't have a contract going into next season. While he has done some tidy work as GM, the Leafs still haven't won a playoff round.
Super-insider Elliotte Friedman has now made his prediction on where Dubas will be next season:
Friedman Predicts Dubas Will Stay in Toronto
Despite never winning a playoff round (which could, and should, end this year), Dubas has done some great work in Toronto.
He has drafted well, made some good trades, and been an expert at managing the salary cap.
Thus, Elliotte Friedman projects that he will retain his job as GM of the Leafs.
"I'll say my prediction right now - Kyle Dubas is going to be in Toronto. That is my prediction"
He'll need a contract extension, but that should be no problem for MLSE.
Hopefully this next era of Kyle Dubas will bring a cup to Toronto!
