Insider reveals the Toronto Maple Leafs have found their own Andrei Vasilevskiy
The Toronto Maple Leafs' goaltender department has taken a big hit this season, with Joseph Woll's injury and Ilya Samsonov's underwhelming performances.
However, a renowned insider revealed that they already have found their future number one goalie.
In a recent statement during an episode of the podcast Spittin' Chiclets, former NHLer Paul Bissonnette mentionned something he saw on Reddit: the Leafs have the future Andrei Vasilevskiy within their organization in Dennis Hildeby.
Here's what he said in a sarcastic way:
He said that because some fans have a reputation of making very early predictions for young players. At only 22 years old, it's extremely hard to predict he'll win a Vezina and be at Vasilevskiy's level, especially considering the great career the Russian goalie is having so far.

After joking around a bit, Bissonnette continued by explaining his comment in a more serious way and laughing at the Maple Leafs' fanbase, which he's a part of:
It's true that this is what happened in the recent few years for the Maple Leafs. Taking a look at the situation from an outside perspective, it doesn't look very good for Toronto. However, Biznasty has a point; they're going to make playoffs and things should work themselves out.
