Former Leaf Justin Holl is having himself an impressive year after leaving Toronto, and he is leading the league in this impressive stat.

Holl Leading League in Plus/Minus Three Weeks Into the Season

Justin Holl is finding himself in a nice groove with his new team the Detroit Red Wings, earning some nice minutes with the club. While the defenseman isn't notorious for his offensive production, he has been able to record 3 assists already this year.

Justin Holl in his first 5 games for Detroit:

> 3 Assists for 3 Points (T-2nd among Detroit D)
> Detroit outscoring opps 10-1 at EV with Holl on the ice
> 4 Blocked Shots
> 2.88 5v5 xGF/60 (7th on Detroit)
> 1.88 5v5 xGA/60 (4th on Detroit)

Like we all expected right? 🥴

However, the more impressive part of his game is his plus-minus. Holl sits at an astounding plus 9 after just 5 games played. That is enough to earn him the league lead.

Holl Finding a New Groove After Leaving Toronto

Holl also had a pretty impressive plus-minus last year for the Leafs of plus 15 over 80 games. However, Holl was widely criticized by Leaf fans and media for his mistakes during last year's playoffs.

Now 14-2 Tampa in series with Justin Holl on the ice.

This is astounding.
