Maple Leafs Defenceman Continues Impressive Streak
It's a numbers game when it comes to defencemen. What I mean by that is production from the back end.
As fans, everyone is mesmerized by the season Erik Karlsson is having this year and rightfully so.
However, one thing that defencemen are also supposed to do is defend. One player has made his presence for defending known. Newcomer Jake McCabe has an impressive streak going for the Maple Leafs.
Since arriving in his trade from Chicago, he has slotted on the top pair and has been playing against tough competition. While playing four games (all on the road!), he has not been on the ice for any goals against.
That's very impressive in today's game that features a ton of scoring. Kyle Dubas appears to have won this trade.
