On Monday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs faced off against the Tampa Bay Lightning in game four of their series at the Amalie Arena. Unfortunately, things didn't look good for the Leafs as the Lightning dominated and were leading 4-1 after two periods.
However, the Leafs managed to make a comeback and tied the game up, ultimately winning 5-4 in overtime - a move that has happened to them more times than we can count.
Notably, the Leafs set a franchise record on Monday by scoring three goals on the road in the third period, which is a first in their franchise history. Despite being in a similar position in 2021, where they led the series 3-1, the Leafs are hoping for a different outcome this time around.
