Leafs players leak news regarding William Nylander
If Sheldon Keefe mentioned that he wouldn't share daily health updates on his players, the players obviously didn't get the memo.
For the second time in two days, we have another update to report on William Nylander, who missed the first game of the series between the Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins.
David Alter shared a quote from Jake McCabe, who said that his teammate seemed in good spirits today:
"McCabe re Nylander: He seemed to be in good spirits today. Not going to speak too much on it."
This could mean a few things: he wasn't happy about missing last night's game, and he seemed better today.
Such a sudden change, after his team lost game one, could indicate that he'll get clear to return to the lineup soon.
Ryan Reaves also commented on Nylander's status, saying he's hoping he would be good to go for game two:
"Ryan Reaves on William Nylander: I don't know what his status is, hopefully he's ready to go."
We should know more about his situation tomorrow in the warmups.
