Maple Leafs' prospect Fraser Minten breaks down in emotional post-game
Fraser Minten and Team Canada lost to Czechia today ending their World Junior Championship early to the disappointment of many.
Today is a sad day for many Canadians as Team Canada was bounced in the quarterfinals by Czechia after letting in a bouncing goal in the final 15 seconds of play.

Following the unfortunate loss, Team Canada captain and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect spoke on the tournament and what is going through his head at the moment.
A dejected Fraser Minten, «It feels like the world's ending a bit..»
"It feels like the world's ending a bit. Such an unbelievable opportunity for all of us in our careers. You never really know if you're gonna get another look representing your country or playing on such a global stage."
Fraser Minten: "The expectations are really high, but they're not higher from the outside than they are from us individually. We want to win more than anyone else wants us to win. It's heartbreaking."
The loss is quite unfortunate for Team Canada as they were unable to threepeat and will go home empty-handed.
After being selected to captain Team Canada, Fraser Minten went on to have a solid tournament posting one goal and three points through five games. While some may like to see better numbers from the captain, he provided excellent defense and was one of the key leaders in Canada's locker room.

Minten led Canadian forwards in minutes, Cowan ranked fifth. Keep in mind the totals are skewed slightly due to Geekie's ejection
While the result is disappointing, hopefully, Minten can take this and learn from it to help him be an even better NHLer for years to come. He will now head back to Saskatoon of the WHL and finish off his final year in the CHL before likely making the jump to the NHL.
