One of the most anticipated storyline for last night's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Anaheim Ducks was the return of Radko Gudas to the Scotia Bank Arena. It was the first time that Gudas was back where he screamed at goaltender Joseph Woll in last years' playoffs and fans were eager to see what would happen to him.

Radko Gudas Tries By All Means to Avoid Fighting Ryan Reaves in First Game Back in Toronto Since He Screamed at Joseph Woll in the Playoffs

Before the game, Gudas seemed confident, making this striking declaration to the media:

Gudas on celebratory scream in front of Woll after series-clinching win in OT:

"One of the emotional moments when you let loose ... It's a long time ago. I still can't believe you guys talk about it"

Back in town for first time since playoffs

"A great feeling walking in here"

However, his confidence disappeared on the ice. Not only was he on the ice for five Leafs goals, he challenged Max Domi to a fight before Reaves got the time to do it.

Then, Gudas showed his cowardice in a an altercation with Reaves. After he attemped to hit him, Reaves got back to him and the Ducks player couldn't even look at him in the eyes.

Later in the game, Reaves tried to provoke Gudas, who remained hidden behind the referees.

No comments from Gudas were available after the game.

Instead of diving right in the situation, Gudas avoided reprisals for his past actions, which will only make things worse for him in Toronto. Fans certainly won't forget what happened and will remind him everytime he sets foot on the ice of the Scotia Bank Arena.
