The Toronto Maple Leafs are set to face off against the New Jersey Devils tonight and coach Sheldon Keefe has announced three different lineup changes.

Just hours before tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils, Sheldon Keefe announced three roster changes by subbing two forwards and a defenseman in for others.

Keefe tells media in Newark that Timmins will replace Lyubushkin tonight on D, Robertson and Gregor for Dewar and Reaves. Woll starts as expected. Leafs using the Martin Jones option as back-up to keep Sammy in Toronto for full rest before projected home start Thursday vs. NJ.

Sheldon Keefe says Conor Timmins will come in for Ilya Lybushkin and Nick Robertson and Noah Gregor will come into the lineup for Connor Dewar and Ryan Reaves.

Joseph Woll will start in goal with Martin Jones backing up. Plan was for Samsonov to stay home and rest up.

These changes could reflect what the Leafs opt for in the first game of the playoffs or could be Keefe giving some depth players time to rest ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

More to come.
