Sheldon Keefe calls out Brad Marchand in post-game presser
Brad Marchand got the better of the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight. His dirty antics have now been called out by head coach Sheldon Keefe, who has had enough.
Following a 4-2 loss the the Boston Bruins, who have now taken a 2-1 lead in the series against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Sheldon Keefe addressed the media.
He was certain to call out Brad Marchand, who scored an empty net goal to seal the game, and was the perpetrator of a lopsided call on Tyler Bertuzzi:
Sheldon Keefe on Marchand: "He gets calls. It's unbelievable, actually, how it goes. You've got to play through that stuff. I don't think there's another player in this series who gets away with taking out Bertuzzi's legs the way that he does. It's an art and he's elite at it."
You can watch the full press conference here:
The series is far from over, but the Toronto Maple Leafs will need to find a solution for Brad Marchand if they want to beat the Boston Bruins.
