Sheldon Keefe's surprising pairing for Morgan Rielly baffles fans
The Toronto Maple Leafs held one of their last practices of the year today. During practice, Sheldon Keefe debuted a new and unexpected partner for Morgan Rielly on defense.
This afternoon the Toronto Maple Leafs had one of their final practices of the regular season. The biggest and most exciting piece of news from the day was the return of Timothy Liljegren to the ice. During the line rush portions of practice, Timothy Liljegren was on a pair with Morgan Rielly.

This is a huge step for Timothy Liljegren who had been out since March 26th with an upper-body injury suffered against the New Jersey Devils. Here is a video of the young defenseman taking part in practice today.
As expected, Timothy Liljegren joining #LeafsForever for full practice for the first time since sustaining an upper body injury on March 26.
Has missed the past eight games.
