With the Leafs organization confirming the hiring of Craig Berube to replace Sheldon Keefe as the head coach of the team, everyone is looking at what he did in the past, to see how his experience could help the Leafs now.
The coach took part in 1086 games in his career. Between 1986 and 2003, he played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals and the New York Islanders. In his career, he tallied 159 points, but his 3149 penalty minutes are what made him stand out of the pack.
In 1989, in a game against the New Jersey Devils and Brendan Shanahan, Berube got sent to the box for at least five minutes for dropping the gloves against his current boss.

Both men's passion and competitiveness is highlighted by that video. If they were like that as players, chances are it didn't change as they grew older.
Who would've thought that over 35 years later, they would be colleagues looking to win together?
Leafs fans hope that their collaboration will finally bring back a Stanley Cup to the city of Toronto.
