William Nylander addresses media for the first time since injury
After Leafs practice today, William Nylander answered questions from the media for the first time since being out with migraines, as he is expected to return to the lineup.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been without star forward William Nylander for the entire Bruins versus Leafs series thus far, however, that looks like it is about to change. Today at practice, Nylander took part in the full skate, and took powerplay reps. After, he spoke with the media for the first time since being out with his injury.
Nylander meeting the media, indicating he's about ready. Says his absence with reported migraines is personal', won't comment.
Nylander declined to comment on if he was officially back in the lineup for game 4, however, all signs are pointing towards it.
William Nylander was asked if he was playing in Game 4: «I don't know.»
One thing hasn't changed for Nylander, and that is his nonchalant attitude towards life and hockey in general, as he said there won't be a massive challenge for him to return to the lineup.
William Nylander, speaking to the media today following practice, asked what will be the biggest challenge for him if he's back in tomorrow?
«Nothing»
Why is that?
«Because I've been skating and everything..»
This is a massive step in the right direction towards getting Nylander back in the lineup, and hopefully he will be able to go tomorrow night.
