Jake Walman of the Detroit Red Wings upset many people in Vancouver last week as he celebrated an overtime goal on a penalty shot with the "griddy" dance.

The Red Wings and the Canucks met again last night and fans were eager to see how the Canucks would respond to Walman.

They didn't disappoint.

There's no doubt that the Canucks were motivated by Walman's celebration. The best way to get back at him was to beat him and his team, which they did.

The Canucks proved they were the better team yesterday by beating the Red Wings 4-1.

However, it wasn't enough for defenseman Nikita Zadorov, who couldn't help but making fun of Walman after a referee came to split them up during a skirmish.

Watch the whole scene in the video below:

"Zadorov mocking Walman with a little griddy action.

See? This is how you settle these things. Not with blatant cross checks to the face. With accidental high sticks and revenge dances.

Morgan Reilly has a lot to learn."

Many fans would have liked to see Morgan Rielly, who is currently serving a five-game suspension for his dirty hit on Senators' Ridley Greig, respond in a similar way. He would've avoided his suspension and still get the retaliation he was looking for.
