This summer, the Jets made a few interesting moves. They got a lot of young talent in the Pierre-Luc Dubois trade with Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari. They also extended key players like Mark Scheifele and Connor Hellebuyck for seven years.
Unfortunately, this didn't convince the fans to go to the arena.
Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Kings and Pierre-Luc Dubois were visiting the Jets at the Canada Life Center.
Only 11,226 bought a ticket for the game: the lowest attendance since the team moved from Atlanta.
In recent years, there's been a lot of concern about the Jet's locker room and it's reportedly toxic environment. It looks like things are different this year, but the damage to the fanbase could already be done.
As you know, the NHL is looking at relocation options for the Arizona Coyotes, but they might need to move another team in a near future!
