During the Swedish women's final match between Lule� and Brynäs IF, a terrifying incident occurred when one of the world's top players, Jenni Hiirikoski, was injured. Her throat was cut by a skate, creating a scary scene in the arena. The incident was captured on camera and has shocked fans and spectators alike.
Horrifying Freak Accident Occurs On What Appears to be a Routine Play
Scary scene at the Swedish womens final as Lule� defender Jenni Hiirikoski has a skate cut her throat. She was rushed to a hospital and is in stable condition. Lule� would end up winning the game after a 30 minute delay. from

Fortunately, Hiirikoski received prompt medical attention on the ice and was immediately taken to the hospital. The game was delayed for approximately 30 minutes while she received treatment. Following her recovery, the game resumed, and Lule�, Hiirikoski's team, went on to win the match.
We should be thankful that the players, referees, and staff acted quickly in response to the incident. Without their timely actions, the outcome could have been much worse. Hiirikoski is currently in stable condition, and we can only hope for her speedy recovery.
