Adding a Marc-André Fleury for a playoff push would greatly improve a team's chances to make the playoffs or help go for a deep run. There are 3 teams believed to try to aquire Fleury,
1. The Pittsburgh Penguins
There's no secret the Pittsburgh Penguins regret picking Matt Murray over Marc-André Fleury. Murray looked impressive at first but there's been many goalies who had a good season or two, that was the case with Matt Murray he was good with Fleury in Pittsburgh, but when Fleury went to Vegas, Matt Murray ended up in Ottawa. Fleury won 3 Stanley Cup in Pittsburgh and the Penguins hope he could possibly get one more.
2. The Edmonton Oilers
The Edmonton Oilers are desperate for some good goaltending Mike Smith plays well but he's injured more times then he's not and Mikko Koskinen who's been the guy in goal right now clearly isn't the guy. There's been rumors aswell of the Oilers getting a Carey Price, but take that with a grain of salt however Marc-André Fleury would be a huge improvement over Smith and Koskinen no doubt.
3. Colorado Avalanche
The Avalanche are looking to go for the Stanley Cup, the question is for the Avalanche is Darcey Kuemper good enough to get there? He's doing well right now but hasn't had to much playoff success or experience especially when he was with Arizona. Adding Fleury would be great insurance or likely Fleury would take the net for the playoffs and helping Nathan MacKinnon and the Avalanche go for a deep run.
There could be others also including possibly the Toronto Maple Leafs with uncertainty of if Jack Campbell can do it in the playoffs, aswell as the Washington Capitals who seem have some goaltending issues also adding could solve that.
