The Edmonton Oilers went into the 3rd period up 3-1 and lost 6-4 to the 30th place Ottawa Senators. Granted the Oilers were off for 10 days, but this loss will definitely be hard to swallow in Edmonton.
The Oilers clearly need goaltending, Stuart Skiiner wasn't much improvement on Mikko Koskinen giving up 5 goals on 25 shots tonight.
After the game Connor McDavid's was asked by the media on the loss, McDavid was lost for words after this embarrassing loss that won't boost the team's morale, who was struggling before the lay off but a 3rd period collapse to the Senators is going to make bad things worse.
