Andrew Ladd Gets NHL Legend on Skates For the First Time in Years
I can't speak for any of you, but when I think of the most likeable player in modern NHL history, Dustin Byfuglien is one the first guys that comes to mind.
The big-bodied hitty winger/blueliner had no quit, and he was one of the brightest spots in the early 2010s.
Byfuglien was also an avid voice in support of marginalized communities in hockey. Beyond being a great player, he was truly just a great guy.
He spoke out last year about weight issues he had been dealing with his whole life. After gaining weight unhealthily to nearly 350 pounds, Byfuglien began to work out again.
It appears to have paid off, as former NHLer and friend of Byfuglien's Andrew Ladd posted this picture today.
