BREAKING: Jakob Chychrun confirms his time in Arizona is done!
On Saturday, the 24-year-old blue liner spoke to the media about his future plans, and his remarks looked to hint that he would prefer a career away from the Coyotes. Chychrun began by implying that everything would take care of itself during the summer.
Chychrun is telling other teams secretly that he wants to leave the Coyotes.
"A lot of it is out of my control," said Chychrun as per Coyotes insider Craig Morgan. "There's stuff that goes on that is going to work itself out this summer. My mentality, my preparation isn't going to change. I want to win more than anybody. Everybody says that but I truly believe it."
"I've been here my whole career and absolutely love it here and it seems like every time we get to a point where it looks like we're gonna be getting there it just gets torn down again... That was kind of tough on me a bit this year, just naturally as a human being and competitive person. I want to win so bad. That's the only part that can be tough on me at times."
