The Montreal Canadiens have announced that NHL player agent Kent Hughes has been hired as the team's newest GM.
After succeeding Marc Bergevin, Hughes obtains his first NHL GM job. The 51-year-old worked at Quartexx Management as a stockholder and player agent, representing players such as Kris Letang, Patrice Bergeron, Darnell Nurse, and Alex Newhook.
