BREAKING: Patrick Marleau announces big news

Forty-two-year-old forward Patrick Marleau officially announced his retirement from hockey in the last few minutes.
Having not played this season, Marleau ended his career last season where it all began, with the San Jose Sharks.
In 23 NHL seasons, Marleau played in 1,779 games and had 1,197 points, including 566 goals. He played for the Sharks, Maple Leafs and Pittsburgh Penguins.
Although he did not win a Stanley Cup, Patrick Marleau is the player who played the most games in his career in the Bettman circuit.
