BREAKING: Terrible News Confirmed in Boston
Jake DeBrusk hasn't had an easy career. After being one Boston's three consecutive picks in the generational 2015 draft, DeBrusk was immediately sentenced to mockery.
While Zach Senyshyn and Jakub Zboril were true flops, DeBrusk has actually developed into a legitimate top-six player. It took him a long time, but he has finally found his niche in Boston.
Even better, he carried his team single-handedly to a win in the 2023 winter classic this past week.
Terrible news was announced today by Bruins insiders, that DeBrusk is dealing with a lower-body fracture and will be sidelined.
The Bruins are only set to released an official announcement tomorrow or Friday, which indicates that this could be a long-term injury.
This will be a massive blow to Boston, who are playing their best hockey in years, and a terrible hit to DeBrusk, who is finally starting to play a meaningful NHL career.
