If he wanted to be general manager of the Los Angeles Kings in the short term, Marc Bergevin will unfortunately have to forget about it.
According to Pierre LeBrun, the Los Angeles Kings have extended Rob Blake's contract for the next three years. The contract expired on June 30.
The announcement should be made in the next week or two, but LeBrun confirms that it is already settled between the two parties.
Marc Bergevin will have to be satisfied with being Rob Blake's advisor for the time being.
