Florida Panthers defenseman Ben Chiarot is very familiar with the pre-game ritual of his former Canadiens teammate Corey Perry. It involves shooting a puck into the opposing net at the end of the warm-up period.
During the first Tampa-Florida game, Ben Chiarot played in the mind of the future member of the Hockey Hall of Fame and stayed on the ice until the very end of the warm up to block Corey Perry's shot and thus, annihilate his ritual.
