Gary Bettman hosts Nordiques minister for desperate meeting
New development in the hope of one day seeing the Quebec Nordiques back in the NHL.
According to host Jonathan Trudeau of FM93, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman has agreed to meet with Éric Girard, who has been named "Minister of the Nordiques" by the CAQ.
According to the host's information, Girard flew to New York to meet Bettman at the NHL offices.
New: Minister EricGirardMFQ will meet with Gary Bettman today in NY at the NHL's office. I'm told this is a "courtesy meeting to keep the lines of communication open".
