Kevin Fiala's arbitration hearing is in two days and the Minnesota Wild are not offering him what he wants. The Wild have offered $4 million every season, while Fiala wants $6.25 million.
Fiala has scored 20 goals in each of the last two seasons. In 2019-20, he scored 23 goals and 54 points in 64 games.
Fiala's AAV was $3 million for two seasons. Unless an agreement is made before then, his arbitration hearing is set for Tuesday. The Wild are holding on to cap space to re-sign restricted free agent Kirill Kaprizov.
