Los Angeles Kings
The Kings already have one of the NHL's best prospect pools. This offseason, their short-term window expanded. Adding Victor Arvidsson and Phillip Danault could help them climb the Pacific division standings. Aside from Anze Kopitar, Danault can anchor the second line, with rookie Quinton Byfield maybe manning the third.
Philadelphia Flyers
The Flyers acquired Rasmus Ristolainen, Ryan Ellis, and Cam Atkinson from the Blue Jackets. The Flyers might make a deep playoff run if these new additions gel well and Carter Hart has a good season.
Chicago Blackhawks
If Seth Jones fits in well, then the Blackhawks made the most risky move of the summer by dealing for him and signing him to a hefty contract. The Hawks might be a playoff team this year with Jonathan Toews, Jake McCabe, Tyler Johnson, and Marc-Andre Fleury returning.
