Montreal Canadiens young centre Nick Suzuki was in conversation with Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette yesterday.
He said people will be surprised by the Canadiens results next season.
"I think what excites me the most is proving people wrong. I think people are putting us really low overall. I talked to (Sean) Monahan about our lineup and we have a team with a lot of depth and I really think people are underestimating us. That's not a bad thing either. I think we'll surprise people!" - Nick Suzuki
The potential CH captain really liked Hughes' additions this summer, even though he lost teammates he was very close with, like Jeff Petry.
"He made a lot of the strategic moves. I think the team and management are going in the right direction and it's very promising and I think the players and fans see that. They definitely have a great plan for us and we'll ride the wave!" - Nick Suzuki
