The Habs got a huge surprise at morning practice: David Savard was on the ice.
The defenseman was wearing a non-contact jersey, but it looks like he's headed for a return soon.
David Savard is on the ice for the CH practice at Capital One Arena. But he's wearing a dark blue jersey, no contact.
This is good news for the CH who are struggling at the moment, especially with Kaiden Guhle's injury.

Finally arrived at training in Washington, after a delayed flight from Fort Lauderdale ✈️
Just in time to see David Savard get pushed around a bit by Stephane Robidas and Joel Armia!
