Breaking: Two tigers players charged with sexual assault

LATEST NEWS: the two Victoriaville Tigers players arrested last summer are formally charged with sexual assault of a minor and filming the alleged victim. Nicolas Daigle and Massimo Siciliano will appear in court today .
The QMJHL has indicated in a press release that it will render a decision on the status of the two players within 48 hours.
"The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has been made aware of the charges laid against two Victoriaville Tigers players for events that allegedly took place in June 2021. This situation is taken very seriously and the Office of the Commissioner Gilles Courteau will analyze the charges and the file presented to the court. A decision will then be communicated within the next 48 hours regarding the status of the players in the QMJHL."
