In the third period, young Montreal Canadiens defenceman Arber Xhekaj struggled.
RDS analyst Marc Denis noted an important element in his battle:
"Xhekaj is certainly hiding an injury. He refuses any invitation to fight in a crazy match and when he threw down the gloves against Smith, he kept his left glove." - Marc Denis
This will obviously be a case to watch.
