Colorado Avalanche Suspend Troubled Prospect
The Colorado Avalanche have indefinitely suspended prospect Danil Zhuravlyov.
Zhuravlyov was a 5th round pick by the team back in 2018, and, despite starting the season with the Colorado Eagles, left for Russia soon after the season began. He effectively abandoned his team.
Zhuravlyov is now in the KHL, with Ak Bars Kazan, and may never return to North America. His contract, however, goes until 2023-24.
