DJ Smith and Tkachuk Bash Dell for injuring Batherson

The Ottawa Senators and head coach Dj Smith are furious and rightly so after Buffalo Sabres goaltender Arron Dell injured Senators star Drake Batherson.

Captain Brady Tkachuk wasn't impressed either, he voiced his opinion:

Batherson was coming around the Sabres net to try to get the puck from the Sabres Mattias Samuelsson when goaltender Dell clipped Batherson sending him down awkwardly from a hit injuring his left knee. I'm sure Batherson wasn't expecting that from the goaltender.

The Senators won the game 5-0 but Senators coach Dj Smith told the media after "Batherson is out of the lineup and will likely miss his 1st NHL All-Star game appearance for the Senators".
