It looks like Edmonton Oilers head coach Dave Tippett is on a very short leash.
Tsn's Ryan Rishaug mentioned that if Dave Tippett would've lost Saturday's game to the Calgary Flames he would've been fired.
The Oilers ended up winning 5-3 over the Calgary Flames thanks to a 40 save night for Mikko Koskinen and 2 goals by Leon Draisaitl to snap their 7 game losing streak.
Rishaug reports the coach that is set to replace Dave Tippett is ironically a former Calgary Flames coach, Glen Gulutzan.
We would expect a coaching change most likely this week with the Oilers. With the team only having 3 wins in their last 15 games, Tippett's days are on life support.
