New Jersey Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald said yesterday that he is not closing the door on trading his 2022 first-round pick in order to get a good player in return.
The team could draft the fifth pick next July in Montreal.
With the firing of the team's assistant coaches on Wednesday, Fitzgerald certainly wants to go all in for next season.
The keyword is: WIN.
With 63 points this season, Lindy Ruff's team finished 28th in the league.
