The Buffalo Sabres have agreed to a seven-year contract extension with their young star player Dylan Cozens.
The deal will pay him $7.1 million per year.
In 49 games this season, the 21-year-old forward has 43 points.
This is an interesting comparison for Kent Hughes, who must extend Cole Caufield's contract. Can Hughes really give his youngster more than $8 million a year?
To be continued.
