Eastern Conference team planning to go ALL IN for Patrick Kane

According to insider Andrew Peters, the Buffalo Sabres don't want to trade for Patrick Kane, but plan on pursuing him in 2023 free agency.
It's looking like they are going all out for Patrick Kane next summer. By inserting Kane to this lineup:
Buffalo looks slightly better. I wouldn't say they have become a playoffs team but definitely a team that can fight for a Wild Card spot.
