It looks like Ken Holland has finally found his man. Hockey insider Frank Seravalli confirmed the Edmonton Oilers have took the prize of the Evander Kane lottery.
There will not be any further discipline for Evander Kane from the NHL. He will be heading to Edmonton to officially sign with the Edmonton Oilers. The announcement from league and team could come as early as today.
The Edmonton Oilers have been interested in Evander Kane since before his relationship ended with his former club the San Jose Sharks.
Former NHL official Tim Peel reports that, "Evander Kane could join the Oilers as soon as today."
The Edmonton Oilers believe they could still make the playoffs this season. After a terrible losing streak the Oilers are playing much better hockey and adding Kane would be a huge bonus to their team.
