The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Vegas Golden Knights in overtime on Thursday night to progress to the Stanley Cup finals, and young Marc-Andre Fleury's dream came true.
Although Flower is the Knights' goalie, he was a fan of the Habs as a kid, and hoped to see them advance to the Stanley Cup final. For the first time since 1993, they have advanced to the final.
As both sides gathered at centre ice to shake hands in the conventional manner, Fleury moved closer to Habs star goalie Carey Price and shared with him a charming message inspired by the small boy within him, telling Number 31:
«Go get it man.»
