After another embarrassing loss by the Edmonton Oilers, Hockey insider Elliotte Friedman reports the Edmonton Oilers have placed Kyle Turris and Tim Soderlund on waivers today.
Kyle Turris was fresh out of Covid Protocol but deemed a healthy scratch in last night's 6-0 beat down by the Florida Panthers. Turris was a 3rd overall pick in the 2007 NHL Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes, Turris also played for the Ottawa Senators, and Nashville Predators before joining the Edmonton Oilers.
Turris hasn't worked out for the Oilers who once was a 1st line player has been only a 4th line guy for the Oilers, as for Tim Soderlund he's placed on unconditional waivers for purpose of termination of his contract.
