Any opportunity to talk to NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman about the Nordiques' return is a good one.
As part of Guy Lafleur's state funeral on Tuesday, Quebec Premier François Legault had the opportunity to speak with Gary Bettman.
According to Marc André Perreault of TVA Sports, Legault reminded Bettman that Quebec City was very interested in having an NHL team.
Did this discussion go 10 feet over Commissioner Bettman's head? Most likely, unfortunately.
