It has been another underachieving season so far for the Philadelphia Flyers who are on the outside looking in for a playoff spot.
Currently sitting 11th in the East with a 13-15-6 record the Flyers could be sellers at the deadline and none other than Captain Claude Giroux could get shipped. Philly would want to move him to get something in return as he will be a UFA this summer.
According to Elliotte Friedman, Giroux is for sure getting traded:
«I think Giroux if I was to bet your mansion on it, Jeff I would bet that Giroux gets traded. I just think they have to figure out between him and them where it's gonna go.
"I can see a situation where they say to him OK, why don't you go chase a Cup this year and we'll figure it all out.' I'm sure there's going to be interest, because I think the guy has played pretty well, so I just think It's a matter of where they decide that that's going to be.»
Giroux is in the last year of his 8 year, 66.2 million deal.
