Head coach Dominique Ducharme, according to Jeff Gorton, will be the man for the rest of the season. Last week, Kent Hughes stated the same thing.
Is Ducharme, however, the ideal person for the job in the long run? In one of his most recent publications, François Gagnon attempted to answer this topic.
During his most recent appearance behind the microphone, Georges Laraque of 91.9 Sports addressed an essential question: if Ducharme were sacked, who would you want as your next coach?
Laraque's response is straight forward. Patrick Roy is the only candidate for the job of future coach of the Habs.
