After an embarrassing loss to the Minnesota Wild, fans of the Montreal Canadiens can't be feeling well. This news won't help Canadiens matters either.
Minnesota Wild's Jared Spurgeon nailed Montreal Canadiens forward Christian Dvorak with a shot to the head, Sportsnet's Eric Engels reports that Jared Spurgeon won't have a hearing on that incident.
The incident happened during last night's game while Dvorak was in front of the Habs goaltender Cayden Primeau trying to defend when he was nailed in the head by Spurgeon. It was learned that he was pulled by NHL spotters for concussion protocol.
Dvorak left the game and there's no word yet on if or how long Dvorak could miss but most likely received a concussion. The Canadiens travel to play the Anaheim Ducks Thursday night. Nothing indicates if Dvorak will travel with the team or return to Montreal for treatment.
