Yesterday, the website The Athletic made a ranking of the 70 best players under 23 years old.
New Jersey Devils prospect Hughes is ranked first. He scored 56 points in 49 games last season.
There are a few Montreal Canadiens prospects, including Juraj Slafkovsky at #15, Cole Caufield at #30 and newcomer Kirby Dach at #41.
A few surprises in this list, including the absence of Shane Wright in the top-70. Another slap in the face for this young man.
