The Vancouver Giants of the WHL (West Hockey League) drafted the first female skater in Canadian Hockey League history.
With the 268th overall pick, the Giants selected Chloe Primerano.
In 30 games last season with Burnaby Winter Club U15 Prep, Primerano had two goals and 17 assists for 19 points.
