Horrifying Scene in Chicago as Blood Pools on the Ice
Hockey players are truly the most resilient athletes in the world.
Through blood, sweat, and tears, these players never give up.
Blood in particular is very scary. We've seen a player like Evander Kane have his wrist slit open, and a player like John Carlson need full facial reconstruction surgery this season alone.
Because both of those players needed serious surgery and time out with injury, when Colorado Avalanche young forward Alex Newhook took a puck to the face, tensions were high.
Here is a video of the scary scene:
In incredible fashion, Newhook returned only 20 minutes later. To put the cherry on top, he scored a goal.
Talk about a story he will be able to tell for years to come!
