Insider Reveals Vegas Likely To Acquire NHL Superstar and Stanley Cup Champion
Slowly but surely, all of the rumoured destinations for Patrick Kane have become non-options.
The Rangers acquired Vladimir Tarasenko, and the Leafs got Ryan O'Reilly. This leaves Kane in an interesting position.
Per insider Kevin Weekes, there are two front-runners in the race for Patrick Kane - the Dallas Stars and the Vegas Golden Knights.
With Mark Stone on LTIR, Vegas is the logical choice, as the salary cap would be less of an obstacle.
They have the assets to make it happen, and he would be a huge addition.
It surely wouldn't be the first time the Golden Knights go after a big-name player, and Showtime would be a pretty good fit on the Vegas strip.
We'll have to wait and see what happens, but these rumours are headed in a very specific direction.
